What is Reservation?

Reservation in medical admission is the allocation of seats to specific categories based on caste, community, or special eligibility to ensure fair access and equal opportunity in medical education.

Who Gets the Benefit?

Social categories: SC, ST, OBC, EWS
Special categories: PWD, Defence, Female, etc.
State-specific reserved groups

Types of Reservation

Vertical Reservation

The primary reservation system that divides total seats into major social categories. Forms the base structure of seat distribution in every medical college.
