Domicile / Nativity Rules
Candidate must satisfy ANY ONE of the following categories
Eligible Categories
- 1.Bonafide Himachali Students: Bona fide resident of Himachal Pradesh who has passed at least 2 exams (Class 8/10/11/12) from schools/colleges in HP
- 2.Navodaya Students: Studied in Navodaya schools in HP and later studied outside under an exchange program still eligible
- 3.Children of Government Employees (Non-Himachali also eligible): Parent is a Central Government / HP Government / PSU / Autonomous body employee or Judge of HP High Court who has worked in HP for at least 2 years in the last 4 years. Candidate must have passed Class 11 and 12 from HP. (Min: 2 yrs)
- 4.Exemption from Schooling in HP: Eligible even without studying in HP if: parent is an HP Govt employee posted outside HP for 3+ years, OR parent is bona fide Himachali working outside HP (Central/State jobs), OR parent works in another state and candidate is not eligible for that state's quota, OR parent is in defence/paramilitary forces
Accepted Proof
- ✓Domicile Certificate from Tehsildar / SDM
- ✓School / College Certificate showing study in state
- ✓Ration Card or Voter ID
- ✓Land records or property documents
Academic Qualification
Class 11 and 12 from Himachal Pradesh (for most categories)
