The landscape of PG seats is often discussed during medical admission planning, but it must be understood in the correct context. In every state, a ratio is maintained between UG (MBBS) seats and PG (MD/MS) seats as per regulatory guidelines set by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
In newly established medical colleges, especially during the initial years after UG permission, PG clinical seats may not be available.
