Domicile / Nativity Rules
Candidate or parent(s) must be a domicile of West Bengal; valid domicile certificate is compulsory
Eligible Categories
- 1.Long-term Resident with 10th & 12th from WB: Candidate has lived in West Bengal for at least 10 years continuously (as on 31 December 2021) AND passed both 10th and 12th from West Bengal
- 2.Long-term Resident with 12th from WB (2022): Candidate has lived in West Bengal for at least 10 years continuously AND passed 12th in 2022 from West Bengal
- 3.Parent(s) Permanent Resident of WB: Candidate has not lived in West Bengal for 10 years BUT parent(s) are permanent residents of West Bengal AND parent(s) have lived in West Bengal for at least 10 years
Accepted Proof
- ✓Domicile Certificate from Tehsildar / SDM
- ✓School / College Certificate showing study in state
- ✓Ration Card or Voter ID
- ✓Land records or property documents
